Mark's Melon Patch

Mark's Melon Patch is known as our famous roadside stand! People, school groups, and organizations visit Mark's Melon Patch throughout the year. Mark's Melon Patch has available for purchase Georgia Made, Georgia Grown products and is a Certified Farmer's Market. It is a true site to see in October when the sunflower field is full of beautiful blooms, pumpkins galore, music, face painting, and the famous homemade ice cream.

Main Street Theatre and Cultural Arts Center

The Main Street Theatre and Cultural Arts Center is consistently offering a variety of family friendly events. Each fall there is an annual Dinner Theatre production that includes dinner, drinks, dessert, and entertainment. All plays are written, produced, and casted from local talent. The Theatre hosts various events throughout the year from the dinner production, Breakfast with Santa, Art Camp, lunch buffets with entertainment, date night dinners, and Princess Tea Parties.

Historic Homes and Architecture

Terrell County has a rich history when it comes to architecture. We are home to the tallest historic courthouse in the State of Georgia. The courthouse is also one of the oldest as it was built in 1892 . The county completed the courthouse renovation in 2009. Terrell County has historic driving tour as well which boasts a beautiful Historic District featuring Queen Anne Victorian, Neo- Classical, and other types of historic homes and buildings. Two buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The first Saturday of May, the Terrell County Historic Preservation Society hosts its Annual Tour of Homes
